So what exactly is hemp doing in topical products?

Allow me to introduce myself, incase we yet haven’t met which honestly would be odd as you have been browsing the site. Anyway I am Madam Hemp and I’m here to answer any questions you have.

Here we go...Hemp comes from the cannabis plant, which tends to make people raise an eyebrow and assume something mildly illegal is about to happen. It isn’t. Hemp contains very little THC, the compound responsible for the psychotropic high, so you won’t suddenly start seeing colors that aren’t there.

What hemp does contain are compounds known for helping calm inflammation, soothe sore muscles and generally quiet down the parts of your body that like to complain. Which is why it works so well in topical products like creams, oils and salves. You apply it directly where your body needs a little backup and let the plant handle the rest.

So no smoke, no funny business. Just a very useful plant finally getting the credit it deserves.
